{"id":5560,"date":"2025-09-17T14:27:00","date_gmt":"2025-09-17T21:27:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/spokane.wsu.edu\/news\/?p=5560"},"modified":"2025-11-03T14:30:14","modified_gmt":"2025-11-03T22:30:14","slug":"research-recruitment-obesity-and-exercise-study","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spokane.wsu.edu\/news\/research\/study-recruitment\/research-recruitment-obesity-and-exercise-study\/","title":{"rendered":"Research Recruitment: Obesity and Exercise Study"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We are recruiting volunteers to participate in a research study investigating the effects of acute exercise on vascular health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Looking for obese adults 18-45 years old with a BMI of 30+ to participate in exercise research.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Day 1 (1.5-2hours) screening, body composition (BOD POD) and a VO2 max on a exercise bike.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Day 2 (3-3.5 hours) Baseline vascular measures (ultrasound and blood pressure).
