COVID-19 INFORMATION

Washington State University Health Sciences Spokane scheduling staff is posting this to inform you that we are currently following the recommendations from the Chancellor’s office and Spokane alerts for scheduling events and meetings: https://spokane.wsu.edu/alert/.

If you are planning an event or meeting at the Washington State University Health Sciences Campus, remember this is an evolving situation. At this time all events must be approved through the Chancellors office-contact Margaret Holt: ma.holt@wsu.edu. Please let your participants know that the event may not be approved and/or could get cancelled at the last minute and that they should make contingency plans just in case. We strongly encourage you to cancel any non-essential events already requested/scheduled. To cancel your non-essential event, please create a task from the event you wish to cancel in 25Live. Please note that failing to cancel an already scheduled event could result in an incurrence of fees for your group.

  • For meetings we strongly encourage using remote technology to collaborate via Zoom instead of meeting in person. For more information on how to utilize Zoom visit https://its.wsu.edu/wsu-video-conferencing-services/.
  • COVID Study space scheduling – Departments will be assigning space in study rooms in the Academic Center (SAC) until the end of the semester. Each department will have their process and schedule. Please contact your academic department for more information.
