WSU Health Sciences Spokane offers numerous ways for Faculty, Staff and Students to get involved in Diversity/Inclusion activities here on campus.

Committee Involvement

WSU Spokane Diversity Committee

A group of faculty, staff and students committed to transforming the campus environment by challenging individuals and systems to create and ensure a climate inclusive of equity and diversity. Diversity/Cultural Events/Activities Subcommittee

The subcommittee of the Diversity Committee plans various diversity and cultural events and activities on campus. All WSU Spokane and EWU Spokane faculty, staff and students are invited to attend our meetings, the second Monday of each month, August through June, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. For more information contact Yvonne Montoya-Zamora at 509-358-7554 or

WSU Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine Equity Committee

WSU Nursing Diversity Committee

Club Involvement

Student Multicultural Organizations

We encourage all students to participate in various student-run organizations that works toward the integration of diverse perspectives within both the campus community and academics.

AWIS (Association for Women in Science) Inland NW

International Pharmaceutical Students Federation (IPSF)

IPSF is the leading international advocacy organization for pharmacy students, promoting public health through the provision of information, education, networking and professional initiatives.
