Student Health Insurance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

While health insurance is not required for most students, WSU strongly recommends that all students carry it to access primary care services. Insurance helps you pay for your medical and mental health bills by covering some of the cost of clinic visits and procedures, regardless of your chosen provider. Note that your Student Health Fee<\/a> is not a substitute for insurance.<\/p>\n\n\n

Primary Care Services<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

WSU Health Student Clinic <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

WSU students in Spokane have access to the WSU Health Student Clinic, located on the west side of the Health Sciences Building (HSB 120) on the Spokane campus. If you need primary healthcare services, call the clinic at (509) 471-7828<\/a> from 8 AM \u2013 4 PM, Monday through Friday<\/strong>, for an appointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The WSU Health Student Clinic offers preventive, in-clinic diagnostic\u00a0(or point-of-care testing), and therapeutic services. Insurance will be billed for services, and you are responsible for the cost of non-covered services,\u00a0such as lab tests, imaging, and medications.<\/p>\n\n\n
