Students not meeting the criteria above are considered academically deficient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading  wsu-heading--style-marked\">Reinstatement process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Check grades on <a href=\"https:\/\/my.wsu.edu\/\">myWSU<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Read the message on your myWSU portal page; this message identifies the regulation under which you are deficient.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading  wsu-heading--style-marked\">Rule 38<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>First semester with below a 2.0&nbsp;<strong>semester<\/strong>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<strong>cumulative&nbsp;<\/strong>GPA. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Complete a <a href=\"https:\/\/wpcdn.web.wsu.edu\/wp-spokane\/uploads\/sites\/471\/2017\/08\/REINSTATEMENT-17-18.pdf\">reinstatement application (PDF)<\/a>, including a personal statement.\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Application fee<\/strong>: $50.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Turn in application (and pay fee) to WSU Spokane Student Affairs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must document attendance in any summer school courses, whether at WSU or another institution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Courses for the next semester (excluding summer) will be cancelled if an application has not been received and approved by the listed deadline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading  wsu-heading--style-marked\">Rule 39<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Students with any third semester (excluding summer and winter terms)&nbsp;<strong>cumulative&nbsp;<\/strong>GPA below 2.0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Complete a <a href=\"https:\/\/wpcdn.web.wsu.edu\/wp-spokane\/uploads\/sites\/471\/2017\/08\/REINSTATEMENT-17-18.pdf\">reinstatement application (PDF)<\/a>, including a personal statement.\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Application fee<\/strong>: $75.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students will be dismissed and courses for the next semester (excluding summer) will be canceled.
