HRS – New employee orientation
Human Resource Services presents a New Employee Orientation that is designed as a 3-part workshop over the course of 1 day. In the morning, we conduct the first portion which is applicable to all employees. In the afternoon, we split off into 2 different retirement sections depending on what your employment type is; there are different retirement options for different employment types. The Personnel Position Payroll Electronic Routing Management System (PERMS) is a personnel action management, routing and approval system that establishes salary payments for faculty, staff and graduate students. PERMS enables the user to authorize, track and communicate the status of the personnel actions. In this training session, participants will learn how to use PERMS and its various functions. Approval to use DEPPS is required prior to receiving access to PERMS

Are you thinking about retiring? Human Resource Services (HRS) will host a pre-retirement seminar to assist with retirement planning. These seminars are open to all Department of Retirement System (PERS/TRS/LEOFF) and WSU Retirement Plan (WSURP) participants. You do not need to register to attend, but seating is limited and will be on a first come, first seated basis.
