Lucia Peixoto, Ph.D. will present ‘Shank3 modulates sleep and circadian activity.’ The goal of the research in the Peixoto lab is to understand the interaction between genes and experience in determining severity within Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). The lab uses both genomic and candidate gene approaches to study ASD. Everyone is invited.

Daniel Coury, M.D., Professor of Clinical Pediatrics & Psychiatry, Ohio State University College of Medicine, Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics, Nationwide Children's Hospital Medical Director, Autism Treatment Network, will describe a nationwide model of healthcare delivery to support earlier diagnosis and effective treatment of ASD.

2018 Translational Medicine Symposium

With support of the Robert F. E. Stier Memorial Lecture in Medicine, this year's presentation by Larry Sherman, Ph.D., is titled Targeting the extracellular matrix to reverse neurodegeneration.
