Sleep and Performance Research Seminar Series

Dr. Steve A. Brown is the head of Chronobiology and Sleep Research Group at the University of Zurich. He earned his Ph.D. in molecular biology at the Harvard Medical School under the mentorship of Dr. Robert Kingston. Dr. Brown then joined the lab of Dr. Ueli Schibler in Geneva, Switzerland where he started his work on circadian rhythms. During his time as a postdoctoral fellow in the Schibler lab, Dr. Steve Brown discovered two transcription factors regulating the negative limb of the mammalian circadian clock oscillator.
