It’s that time of year again! The annual fire drill and emergency evacuation exercises are scheduled to take place during the last week of September. These drills are essential for maintaining compliance with university, state, and federal regulations and for ensuring our campus community is prepared in the event of an emergency.
To help faculty, staff, and researchers plan accordingly, see below for the 2025 drill schedule:
Wednesday, Sept. 24
- Spokane Teaching Health Clinic (STHC) – 7:30 AM
- Pharmaceutical & Biomedical Sciences (PBS) – 9:00 AM
- Academic Center (SAC) – 11:00 AM
- Center for Clinical Research & Simulation (CCRS) – 1:00 PM
- Medicine Building (SMED) – 2:00 PM
Thursday, Sept. 25
- IGNITE Building – 9:00 AM
- Nursing (NRS) – 10:00 AM
- Health Education & Research Building (HERB) – 1:00 PM
- Health Science Building (HSB) – 2:00 PM
Important Notes:
- Vivariums will be silenced during the drills
Please account for this schedule when planning research projects and testing schedules to avoid conflicts during this important safety week.
