WSU Learning & Organizational Development (LOD) is excited to announce a streamlined approach to required training assignments starting in 2026. These changes are designed to make compliance training easier to manage and improve the overall experience in Percipio.
Starting January 2, 2026, all system-wide required training will follow a simplified annual schedule, with assignments set at the start of the year and due by December 31. This change replaces the previous split-year approach, giving employees a full year to plan and complete their compliance courses.
In addition, LOD is enhancing the Percipio experience by archiving prior-year assignments and refining audience structures to improve reporting. These updates ensure a smoother, more efficient process for everyone. If you have questions about the archiving process or your assigned training, contact LOD at hrstraining@wsu.edu.
Course Content Updates
Starting Jan. 2, WSU’s annual discrimination and harassment training will appear in Percipio as two shorter modules instead of one long course, making learning more accessible and effective. This training also has a new name: Employee Rights and Responsibilities Under UPPM 10.60, reflecting recent policy consolidation by the Office of Policy, Records, and Forms.
Additionally, the course, formerly titled Ethics in Public Service, will debut in 2026 under its new name, University Ethics Policy UPPM 10.65. Coming in Q1, the update introduces two shorter modules to replace the current 30-minute course, reducing time commitment while enhancing your learning experience. Stay tuned for launch details!
Finally, the LOD and HRS teams have been hard at work updating the WSU New Employee Orientation Journeys, now in their final stages. The New Employee System Orientation has been fully refreshed and, along with other updated content, is anticipated to be available for assignment to new employees at the start of 2026.

Compliance and Civil Rights is offering multiple opportunities in 2026 for employees to complete their required Employee Rights and Responsibilities Under UPPM 10.60 training in a live-learning format. These sessions provide an interactive alternative to the on-demand assignment, allowing employees to receive full credit for their 2026 mandatory training.
