On January 5, 2026, Modernization and ITS will launch a new Workday-to-Outlook integration for time off. This integration allows employees to seamlessly sync their approved time-off entries or corrections from Workday directly to their Outlook calendars.

This exciting new functionality helps make planning easier for individuals and teams by improving calendar visibility across systems and reducing the need for manual calendar updates.

What You Can Expect

  • Future Approved Time Off Synced to Outlook: Any time off requests or corrections that were approved and scheduled for a future date before the integration launch will automatically appear in your Outlook calendar.
  • Automatic Sync for Any New Time Off Requests or Corrections: Newly approved time off requests or corrections in Workday will appear in your Outlook calendar.
  • Real-Time Updates: Any changes or cancellations made in Workday will automatically reflect in Outlook.
  • Improved Coordination: Managers and team members can better plan around absences.
