Convocation is the WSU College of Nursing’s traditional pinning ceremony, where nursing faculty welcome graduates into the profession by bestowing a nursing pin. We also celebrate our graduate students at the Convocation ceremony. It’s different than Commencement, which is the traditional graduation ceremony. Attire: Students in the Tri-Cities and Spokane will wear academic regalia – caps and gowns. Gowns must be pre-ordered online through Herff Jones; they are not available through the Bookie any longer.
