This course identifies and defines internal controls at Washington State University, explaining their role, purpose, and impact, as well as who is responsible for them. Additionally, this course will provide overview on what is looked for in an audit and describes the different types of audits common to the University. The ultimate objective of the workshop is to understand the why and how of establishing and using strong controls that will help to ensure proper stewardship of WSU resources, and enable clean and good audits. First Aid/AED/CPR classes are open to all faculty and staff on campus. Employees should seek approval to cover the expense of the class from their department prior to registering.
