Information Technology Services (ITS), led by Vice President and Chief Information Officer Tony Opheim, is pleased to announce that Bryan Valley is transitioning from his Spokane-focused responsibilities to include an expanded system engineering oversight role based in Pullman.

In this position, and effective Dec. 11, Bryan will provide leadership across several critical technology service areas:

  • Pullman Integrated Academic Technologies (PIAT): Classroom technology support
  • Enterprise Endpoint Management (EEM): Device and endpoint administration
  • Data Center Operations (DCO): Core data center services
  • Collaboration & Directory Services (CDS): Communication and identity management tools

This transition supports ITS’s commitment to strengthening system-wide IT service engineering and ensuring consistent, high-quality technology support across all WSU campuses.

As Bryan takes on these expanded responsibilities, Spokane’s IT support team will continue to provide classroom and administrative services under the leadership of Angela Earley, director of operations and customer experience, who will become a direct report of the CIO and a member of the ITS leadership team.

Please join ITS in congratulating Bryan on his new role and thanking him for his continued dedication to advancing technology services across the WSU system.
