International Student Life Student Coordinators
Michelle Baek
Hello! My name is Michelle Baek. I am originally from Seoul, South Korea but moved to Spokane, Washington when I was in middle school. I am currently in the Doctor of Pharmacy program in the class of 2021. I will be serving as an International Student Life Coordinator. I hope to build a strong community of international students on our Health Sciences campus while sharing our cultures with other students. At Student Diversity Center, we host many events that are both educational and fun, so please come by and say hi!
Puneet Kaur
Hello! My name is Puneet Kaur. I was born and raised in Punjab, India. I am living in Spokane from the last 3.5 years. I am pursuing Doctor of Pharmacy program (Class of 2022). I serve as a Court; social and medical Interpreter for Punjabi and Hindi languages and it enriches my experience as I get to meet different folks and learn about diverse life situations. From India, I graduated with Master of Pharmacy (Quality Assurance) and Bachelor of Pharmacy and then got fortunate to work as research fellow in a Federal government funded research project on diabetes. Diversity has a huge impact on my life as my father lives in Kuwait for work and mother in India and brother in Sydney, Australia. I will be serving as an International Student Life and Education- training Student Coordinator. Throughout the year, I will be hosting “Lets meditate” series, because I believe meditation leads to calmer and peaceful world! Student Diversity Center, will be hosting many events that are both educational and fun, so please come by and say hi!
