Your CougarCard ID

The CougarCard serves as the official University ID for students and employees at WSU Spokane.

Your CougarCard authorizes access to university facilities, such as the Kirk H. Schulz Academic Center (SAC) and WSU Health Sciences Library. For students, your CougarCard grants you access to the U-Fit Fitness Center and the Interprofessional Learning Commons. CougarCard holders also have access to utilize the Spokane Transit Authority (STA) bus system.

Non-WSU Spokane Card Printing Services

WSU Spokane does not offer CougarCard printing services to non-WSU Spokane students (e.g., students enrolled at WSU Global or other WSU campuses). See “CougarCard Printing Services” for more details.

Name Badge

The name badge serves as a form of identification and provides access to clinical and practicum sites.

WSU Spokane does not charge fees for the following:

  • First CougarCard
  • Official name changes
  • Students transitioning from undergraduate to graduate program
  • Employee transitioning into a new position

Cougar CASH

Cougar CASH is the convenient, cashless way for students, faculty, and staff to pay for products and services at WSU using their CougarCard. 

CougarCash at The Riverpoint Café

Currently, CougarCash can be used at The Riverpoint Café.

Adding Funds to Cougar CASH

When you deposit money into your Cougar CASH account, it becomes accessible through your CougarCard. As you make purchases using your card, the purchase amount is deducted from your Cougar CASH account. Your Cougar CASH is a debit account, not a credit account. Employees can sign up to have Cougar CASH loaded into their account via payroll deduction.
