Navigating Student Aid in myWSU
myWSU is where you can view your financial aid offer and complete other tasks, such as authorizing third-party users.
First-time User Login
Follow the steps in the account creation email sent to the email address you used on your admission application. Keep a record of your Network ID and password, as you will continue to use this throughout your time at WSU.
If you have any questions during the Network ID/Okta account creation process, or if you cannot find the account creation email, please contact the WSU Crimson Service Desk, Monday-Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (PST) at 509-335-4357 or helpdesk@wsu.edu.

View Financial Aid Award and Accept or Decline Student Loans
On your Student Homepage:
- Click “Financial Aid”
- Award for the year will automatically show in “Award Summary”
- Click “Accept/Decline”
- Click the “pencil” button to edit located above “Award Description/Category”
- Accepted funding is for the full academic year and will be split evening between your academic terms
- You may reduce the amount of loans you would like to accept under award
- Click “Submit”
Set Up and Grant Third-Party Access
On your Student Homepage:
- Click “Profile”
- Click “Third Party Access”
- Click “Share My Information”
- Create a new third party access account if one has not already been created
View Financial Aid To-Do List Items
On your Student Homepage:
- Click “Tasks”
- Select the task for further details
View your 1098-T
On your student homepage:
- Click “Account Services & 1098-T”
- Your 1098T statement will be listed by calendar tax year
- Select the year
- Click “View”
- PDF option will populate/be available to print/email
Set Up Direct Deposit for Financial Aid
On your Student Homepage:
- Click “Account Services & 1098-T”
- Click “Enroll in Direct Deposit” on the left side menu
- Click “Enroll in Direct Deposit”
- Input your bank account number and routing number*
- To change direct deposit, select “Modify Direct Deposit”
- Click “Proceed to Enroll in Direct Deposit” to complete the process
- Select your bank account in drop down
- Click Next
- Select “Yes” to the agreement
- Click on “Submit”
Authorize Financial Aid to Pay All Applicable Charges
On your Student Homepage:
- Click “Account Services & 1098-T”
- Click “Account Services” drop-down menu
- Click “View Student Permissions”
- Select “Grant Permissions”
- Read the Student Permissions Agreement
- Click “Next”
- Check “Yes, I have read the agreement”
- Click “Submit”
