APAC session – Interactive Mindfulness and Mental Awareness
Julia Hayes, owner of Souls Center in Spokane, will set the tone in the new year with a 15 minute mindfulness practice. Following this relaxing exercise, Dr. Matt Layton, psychiatrist and clinical professor with the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine, will engage in understanding challenges in ourselves and others in a stressful environment. This workshop will include breakout sessions (in person and on Zoom) to discuss, how to identify whether what you are experiencing in your work, relationships and parenting is normal or dysfunctional.
