At WSU Spokane ITS, our mission is to provide exceptional information technology services, support, education, and consultation to the WSU Spokane Health Sciences Campus, collaborating with and in support of the colleges of Nursing, Pharmacy, and Medicine. We strive to empower faculty, staff, and students with innovative and reliable technological solutions, fostering an environment that enables excellence in education, research, and healthcare.

Technical Support

Technical Support Center (TSC) staff offer assistance with desktop, application and mobile devices, anti-virus software installation, virus identification and removal and general troubleshooting for the WSU Spokane administrative units Monday – Friday: 8 AM to 5 PM.

College Employee Affiliates

Employees affiliated with a college should contact their college IT team for technical support.

Zoom Phone

The WSU Spokane campus uses Zoom Phone, a VoIP phone system that integrates with the Zoom videoconferencing software on your computer. You can receive phone calls just as you would with a regular phone and depending on your license, place outbound calls. FAQs regarding Zoom Phone can be found in the Knowledge Base. If you have technical issues, contact the Technical Support team.

Canvas

Canvas is a Learning Management System (LMS) that supports a range of uses from fully online courses to hybrid, blended, and flipped learning. Canvas allows for delivery of materials and communication to students, administration of tests and assignments, record keeping, early alerts, and more.

Access Canvas

To access your course space, navigate to canvas.wsu.edu and log in with your WSU NID and password.

Zoom

Zoom is the video conferencing system used by WSU to remotely connect students, faculty, and staff for both academic and non-academic meetings. A variety of classrooms and conference rooms on the Spokane campus are videoconference ready. Simply use the touch panel in the rooms to dial in and control your meeting. If you have Zoom related questions, quickly find your answer through the WSU Zoom website or contact the IT team to get started.
