Contact WSU Spokane EHS

Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) is a non-academic service department dedicated to establishing and maintaining a safe and health university community. EH&S provides training, consultation, and services in the areas of employee health and safety, public health, chemical waste disposal and cleanup.

Report an Incident

In accordance with SPPM 2.24.1, University faculty, staff, volunteers, and students are to promptly report all accidental injuries and work-related illnesses to immediate supervisors for evaluation and possible investigation.

Accident Prevention Plan

The purpose of the Accident Prevention Program is to identify, evaluate, control and eliminate potential hazards. The program emphasizes incorporating safety and health measures into each task. A safe and healthy work environment is accomplished through the cooperative efforts of management and employees in following the health and safety policies and procedures of the University.

Safety Data Sheets

WSU Spokane has contracted with an outside company, KHA, for maintaining safety data sheets (SDSs). All departments on the WSU Spokane campus are to maintain their SDSs online, and all employees who work with these hazardous chemicals should be instructed in how to access them.
