Rental Vehicles

WSU Spokane rents vehicles for faculty, staff, and department-backed students to use for WSU business purposes. 

Reserve a Vehicle

To verify vehicle availability, please contact the Facilities Operations office and provide:

  • Name
  • Date(s) vehicle needed
  • Destination
  • Workday Program or Grant # (example: PG/GR xxxxxxxx)

Rates

  • $64.00 per day base rate. (Rate calculation data sheet available on request.)
  • Mileage: $0.22 per mile, and fuel
  • Fuel can be purchased by the customer via the fuel card provided at the key pick up; a full tank is required at return.

Vehicle Details

The campus has four 2024 Toyota RAV4 AWD Hybrids available to rent. 

  • Gas Mileage (MPG est.): 41 city / 38 highway / 39 combined
  • Seats five passengers
  • 2 Crimson and 2 grey
  • Snow tires installed during the cold season
  • Emergency SOS button and 24/7 Toyota roadside assistance (4G network dependent)

Vehicle Rental Polices

Appropriate Use

Rental vehicles may not be used for personal purposes, including transporting family, friends, or animals, except for service animals. Additionally, rental vehicles may not be driven home.

Reservation Cancellation

A vehicle rental reservation cancellation notice must be received at spokane.parking@wsu.edu by noon on the day prior to a rental reservation date. If notice is not properly received, a one-day base-rate rental fee is charged.
