WSU Brand Resources

Washington State University’s brand standards are developed and stewarded by University Marketing and Communications in collaboration with the Trademark Licensing office. By maintaining consistent, accessible brand expression across logos, website standards, and language, we can tell a powerful story about what it means to be a Coug.

If you are new to the WSU brand, you can familiarize yourself with our standards using the system resources below:

WSU Brand – Provides detailed information regarding visual and technical applications of the university brand. Downloadable assets are also available.
Trademarks & Licensing – Information regarding working with external vendors to create products featuring University logos and graphic marks.
Digital Accessibility – Provides guidance on creating and publishing digital content at WSU.

Campus Communication Channels

Announcements & Newsletters

WSU employees and students may submit announcements relevant to the university community for distribution through two email blasts, one for employees and the other for current students. Learn more about submitting an announcement.

Digital Signage Network

The WSU Spokane digital signage system is a no-cost service for WSU programs and Registered Student Organizations (RSOs). Signage will be placed in rotation within 2 business days of receiving an approved file. Learn more and submit your signage.

Emergency Communication

The campus uses several methods of communication to alert campus personnel and students in the event of an emergency. Visit Campus Security’s Emergency Communication page for more details.

News & Events Calendar

The WSU Spokane News & Events website showcases stories and activities from across campus. Visit the website to catch up on the latest news or to submit an item for publication. News and highlights from around the WSU system can also be found on the WSU News website.

Creative Services

Photo & Video

WSU Spokane offers limited photography and videography services across the campus community. Email spok.com@wsu.edu to inquire about services and availability.

Printing Services

CougPrints Plus, located on the WSU Pullman campus, offers general printing, mailing, and poster printing solutions. Items such as branded stationery, business cards, and name tags are available. Orders can be placed via the online storefront and are shipped to the Spokane campus.

Web Development & Design

University Marketing & Communication’s Web Communications team provides websites for departments, units, research, and labs in the WordPress platform. Requests for assistance or updates to the WSU Spokane websites can be submitted through the web support ticketing system.
