Virtual Fall Festival

Girl throwing fall leaves into the airBlock off your calendar on Tuesday, Sept. 22, from noon to 1 p.m. for an hour of fun wellness activities. This is a great opportunity to break away from your email for a bit while reconnecting with coworkers you probably haven’t seen in about six months. Plus, you might learn a thing or two!

Here’s what the Wellness Collaborative has lined up for you:

Noon – 12:15 p.m. Cooking with Kelsie – add some pizzazz to your lunches with this no-cook cooking show!
You’ll learn how to make spring rolls and peanut dipping sauce. Click here for a list of ingredients and kitchen tools to have on hand.
12:15 – 12:30 p.m. “Let’s Make a Deal”-inspired scavenger hunt
This scavenger hunt will have you and your teammates hunt for specific items in your house, around your workplace, or wherever you are. The team that finds the most items in the least amount of time wins!
12:30 – 12:45 p.m. Pet contest – watch your pet win (maybe!) or join to admire your colleagues’ pets

12:45 – 1:00 p.m. Line dancing – learn how to dance, from Dusty with Litefeet (yeehaw!)


All activities will be conducted via Zoom. Spouses, kids, and other house guests are welcome to join. So mark your calendar and sign up now!


Our on-campus, no-sweat flow yoga classes help you maintain and gain flexibility, build strength, and relax your mind. The class is ongoing and runs most of the year, except on university holidays and during the December break.

Session Dates & Class Days/Times

Current Session:

Wednesday, August 26 – Wednesday, October 21 (no class on Labor Day, Monday, September 7)

Class Days/Times:

Classes run Mondays and Wednesdays, noon – 1 p.m. (An optional Friday add-on class is available as well – contact yoga instructor Jenni Wade for details.)

To comply with social distancing measures taken to mitigate the COVID-19 outbreak, classes are offered online through Zoom until further notice.

Drop-in rates are $8 per class. Prepay rates are $80 for the entire session ($5 per class for 16 classes) or $40 for a Monday-only or Wednesday-only half session. Payments can be made through Venmo to @Jenni-Wade. For Paypal info or other payment questions, contact Jenni Wade. (Note: Prepayers should pay within a week of the start of the session. Drop-in payments should be made by the end of each class.)
