The WSU Spokane Office of Research is here to support faculty and student researchers on the Spokane campus who are engaged in important scientific discovery. Researchers on this campus have made important contributions in the fields of sleep and performance, addictions, autism, cancer and aging, chronic disease, community health, healthy policy, Native and rural health, neuroscience, pharmacology, rare genetic disorders, and more.
What We Do
- Review and submit grant applications for research to external agencies
- Review and negotiate research contracts and subcontracts
- Ensure that institutional policies are followed on grants and contracts
Ready to Submit a Proposal?
- Review the ORSO proposal submission guidelines and the WSU research policies and guidelines.
- Work with the ORSO Spokane office on your grant submission (All applications for externally funded grants and contracts must be submitted through this office).
- Submit your proposal to the ORSO Spokane office at least 48 hours before the submission deadline to allow adequate time for review.
- After a grant or contract has been awarded, route all requests to the sponsor for extensions, budget adjustments, and other changes through the ORSO Spokane office.
