WSU Spokane offers degrees in Nursing, Medicine, Pharmacy, Speech & Hearing, Health Policy & Administration, Nutrition/Exercise, Criminal Justice and Education.


Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences

Students who enroll in the accredited four-year Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program are heading into the profession of Pharmacy. Students interested in research may pursue a PhD in pharmaceutical sciences.



The WSU College of Nursing each year graduates more entry-level nurses than any other institution in the state of Washington, but it also offers a full array of nursing degrees, including the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and the PhD.


Health Policy & Administration

The HPA program prepares students to become health services administrators and community health policy leaders. As a CAHME-accredited program with high distinctions and a national leader in health finance education the program offers students rare opportunities.



WSU College of Medicine faculty are engaged in teaching future physicians as well as graduate students doing biomedical research in a number of different fields including neuroscience, molecular biology, biochemical genetics and more. The College welcomed its first class of M.D. students in the fall of 2017.

Speech and Hearing

Speech and Hearing Sciences

This accredited program combines science with clinical practice, preparing students to diagnose and treat a wide array of speech, language, voice and swallowing disorders. Students enjoy individual attention from recognized scholars, an outstanding internship program, and the latest in technology.


Nutrition & Exercise Physiology

This program offers unique degree pathways that combine studies and research in nutrition and exercise. Graduates can become credentialed in one or both areas.

A professor in criminal justice

Criminal Justice

Using an interdisciplinary approach and benefiting from a close association with research institutes at WSU Spokane, this program advances knowledge of societal issues associated with crime, the work of criminal justice professionals, and the impact of public policy on the criminal justice system.



Education programs available at WSU Spokane prepare K-12 teachers to become administrators, open the world of education to people seeking career change, supply opportunities for both research and practical experience, and train students to be leaders.
