Current Funding Priorities
The Washington State University Spokane campus has identified the following funds as the highest priorities for the campus at this time:
This fund is used at the Chancellor’s discretion for the most urgent needs and enable the Chancellor to act immediately to meet unanticipated needs or opportunities. The funds also support student outreach activities such as community immunization clinics and health fairs.
Gifts to this fund support health sciences research in a number of ways, including symposiums that bring faculty and student researchers together to share ideas with each other or interested entrepreneurs as well as other activities that support student professional activities.
Scholarships are awarded annually to students in the health sciences programs at WSU Spokane to support of the cost of their education.
This fund assists in removing barriers to success for all students by creating opportunities for faculty, staff and students to work collaboratively through a number of committees to hold educational events and engage in activities that promote inclusion, compassion, empowerment and respect for all.
Gifts to this fund support the development and continuation of internships for WSU health sciences students in this medical clinic.
