ASWSUHS Health Fair 2023

The WSU Health Sciences Community Health Fair at Francis L.N. Scott Elementary School is FREE and open to the entire community. April 1st, 2023 starting at 11:00. It is focused on providing health education and information, activities and demonstrations, screenings to promote awareness of healthy lifestyle habits and disease prevention so people can lead healthier lives.

There will be opportunities to win prizes by visiting various Health Fair booths, face paining, and MUCH MORE! Come and join us for the chance to win prizes such as a Nintendo Switch, Bluetooth Speaker, WSU swag and more!

Health Fair Goals and Objectives

  1. Help community members get connected locally through the promotion of community health resources.
  2. Raising awareness of common health risks in America and how to seek proper care and treatment for these health risks.
  3. To increase preventive knowledge through the utilization and display of preventive care methods such as exercise, proper nutrition, and health screenings.
  4. Emphasizing good hand and oral hygiene.
  5. Engaging students and family members in fun activities that promote better health practices
