Printing and Copying

Users of the Spokane Academic Library pay for printing and copying via the WEPA system.

WSU WEPA Printing Instructions

 

Step 1.  Login to your WEPA account:

  • Browse to https://www.wepanow.com/login
  • Click on School pulldown menu.
  • Choose ‘Washington State University (WSU)’ and wait for the WSU Login page to load.
  • At the WSU Login page enter your Network-ID and password.
  • At the WEPA Welcome page click on the blue ‘Members Area’ link.

Step 2.  Deposit funds into your account:

  • Click Deposit Funds then Select A Payment Method.
  • Fill out the fields using your preferred payment method.

Step 3.  Tag a card at the WSU station to allow easy swiping to release print jobs:

  • Walk up to the WSU WEPA station.
  • Tap Don’t have a card.
  • Tap WSU Login.
  • At the WSU Login page enter your Network-ID and password.
  • Once logged in, tap the blue pulldown menu icon in upper-right corner of the screen. (Blue square with 3 white lines.)
  • Tap Manage Tag.
  • Tap Add/Replace Tagged Card.
  • Swipe your preferred card (eg. Coug Card or Driver’s License). Any card with a magnetic stripe will work.

Signed in printing instructions:

  • Login to your WEPA account (see Step 1). (This can be done from any web browser on any computer connected to the internet.)
  • Click Document Upload (ignore pop-up print driver recommendation).
  • Drag and drop files to the indicated area, or click Choose your file.
  • Set your print options then click “send Print Options”
  • Walk up to the WSU WEPA station, swipe your tagged card to login, and select files to print.

To print from within an application (NOT signed in):

  • File -> Print
  • Choose a wepa printer (b/w by default). Choose b/w, color, and one or two sided here.
  • Click Print and the WEPA app will load.
  • At the WEPA login page, click the button No account, print now and get a wepa code.
  • Print job will upload and a print code will be displayed.
  • Walk up to the WSU WEPA station.
  • Tap Don’t have a card.
  • Tap Have a code.

Enter the code then swipe your tagged card to get into your account to print the job.


 

EWU Printing Instructions

 

Your EWU Print credit will work on the EWU station

Signed in printing instructions:

  • Login to your WEPA account (see Step 1). (This can be done from any web browser on any computer connected to the internet.)
  • Click Document Upload (ignore pop-up print driver recommendation).
  • Drag and drop files to the indicated area, or click Choose your file.
  • Set your print options then click “send Print Options”.
  • Walk up to the EWU WEPA station, swipe your EWU ID card to login, and select files to print.

 

To print from within an application: (NOT signed in)

  • File -> Print
  • Choose a wepa printer (b/w by default). Choose b/w, color, and one or two sided here.
  • Click Print and the WEPA app will load. (This can take a while, wait…wait…wait)
  • At the WEPA login page, click the lower right blue button No account, print now and get a wepa code.
  • Print job will upload and a print code will be displayed. Write down this code.
  • Walk up to the EWU WEPA station.
  • Tap Don’t have a card.
  • Tap Have a code.
  • Enter the code.Choose print, then Eaglecard and swipe Eaglecard to pay with your print credit.

  • Choose ‘Eastern Washington University’ and wait for the EWU Login page to load.
  • At the EWU Login page enter your Net-ID and Password.
  • At the WEPA Welcome page click on the blue ‘Members Area’ link.

 

Step 2.  Deposit funds into your account:

Your EWU Print credit will work for this system

If you deplete those funds, sign into the https://www.wepanow.com/login page and click Deposit Funds then Select A Payment Method or add funds at the printer using a credit card after you swipe your Eaglecard. All added funds will be accessed using your Wepa account not your Eaglecard account.

 


 

Community User Printing Instructions

 

Step 1.  Login to your WEPA account:

  • Browse to https://www.wepanow.com/login
  • Click on Register
  • Enter fields for Create an Accountand click Submit.
  • Click on Login tab and enter your Email and Password.

Step 2.  Deposit funds into your account:

  • Click Deposit Funds then Select A Payment Method.
  • Fill out the fields using your preferred payment method.

Step 3.  Tag a card at either station to allow easy swiping to release print jobs:

  • Walk up to either WEPA station.
  • Tap Don’t have a card.
  • Tap Wepa Account Login.
  • At the WEPA Login page enter your Email and Password.
  • Once logged in, tap the blue pulldown menu icon in upper-right corner of the screen. (Blue square with 3 white lines.)
  • Tap Manage Tag.
  • Tap Add/Replace Tagged Card.
  • Swipe your preferred card (eg. Driver’s License).

Printing can also be paid for by credit/debit card at the EWU Wepa station.  There is a 40 cent charge per transaction added to the printing charge.  Tap Don’t have a card, tap Have a code, enter your code, select print job, choose payment method of credit card, acknowledge the fee message, then swipe your card.
