Printing and Copying

The following instructions are for individuals printing assignments, documents, and other materials. There is also a Printing Services center on the Spokane campus, which provides large-format printing such as conference posters, with finishing options of lamination, poster tube, or foam core mounting. A full array of printing services such as stationery, business cards, design, and more is provided by WSU Design & Printing Services housed in Pullman.

Printing Instructions

You automatically have a WEPA account that will use Cougar Cash or WEPA account balance to print.  You must have a balance on either of these methods to pay for prints.

Option 1: Upload to WEPA website
      1. Go to the WEPA website
      2. Click on School pulldown menu.
      3. Choose ‘Washington State University (WSU)’ and wait for the WSU Login page to load.
      4. At the WSU Login page enter your Network-ID and password.
      5. At the WEPA Welcome page, click on the blue ‘Members Area’ link.
      6. Click Document Upload (ignore pop-up print driver recommendation).
      7. Drag and drop files to the indicated area, or click Choose your file.
      8. Set your print options then click “Send Print Options”.
      9. Walk up to the WSU WEPA station, swipe your Cougar card to log in, and select files to print.
Option 2: Print from an application
      1. From within an application, choose File -> Print
      2. Choose a WEPA printer (b/w by default). Choose b/w, color, and one or two sided here.
      3. Click Print and the WEPA app will load. (This can take a while, wait…wait…wait)
      4. At the WEPA login page, click the lower right blue button No account, print now and get a WEPA code.
      5. Print job will upload and a print code will be displayed. Write down this code.
      6. Walk up to the WSU WEPA station.
      7. Tap Don’t have a card.
      8. Tap Have a code.
      9. Enter the code. Choose print, then swipe Cougar card and choose either Cougar cash or WEPA account balance to pay.

Add Print Funds

Option 1: Add funds directly to WEPA
      1. Go to the WEPA website
      2. Click on School pulldown menu.
      3. Choose ‘Washington State University (WSU)’ and wait for the WSU Login page to load.
      4. At the WSU Login page enter your Network-ID and password.
      5. At the WEPA Welcome page click on the blue ‘Members Area’ link.
      6. Click Deposit Funds then Select A Payment Method.
      7. Fill out the fields using your preferred payment method.
Option 2: Deposit funds to your Cougar Cash account on MyWSU

Community User Printing Instructions

Community patrons (not affiliated with WSU or EWU) will need to first create an account through WEPA in order to manage the printing payment, and then print either by uploading a document to the WEPA website or directly through an application.

Create an account

Step 1.  Login to your WEPA account:

    • Browse to https://www.wepanow.com/login
    • Click on Register
    • Enter fields for Create an Account and click Submit.
    • Click on Login tab and enter your Email and Password.

Step 2.  Deposit funds into your account:

    • Click Deposit Funds then Select A Payment Method.
    • Fill out the fields using your preferred payment method.

Step 3.  Tag a card at either print station to allow easy swiping to release print jobs.

    • Walk up to either WEPA station.
    • Tap Don’t have a card.
    • Tap WEPA Account Login.
    • At the WEPA Login page, enter your Email and Password.
    • Once logged in, tap the blue pulldown menu icon in upper-right corner of the screen. (Blue square with 3 white lines.)
    • Tap Manage Tag.
    • Tap Add/Replace Tagged Card.
    • Swipe your preferred card (eg. Driver’s License).

Print

Print Option 1: Upload to WEPA website
      1. Login to your WEPA account (see Step 1). This can be done from any web browser on any computer connected to the internet.
      2. Click Document Upload (ignore pop-up print driver recommendation).
      3. Drag and drop files to the indicated area, or click Choose your file.
      4. Set your print options then click “Send Print Options”.
      5. Walk up to either WEPA station, swipe your tagged card to login, and select files to print.
Print Option 2: Print from an application
