Alexa Fay

Alexa Fay is the program assistant for WSU Health Sciences Spokane Native American Health Sciences (NAHS), and is currently a Senior in the BSN program at the WSU College of Nursing.

Her role at NAHS is to support our programmatic efforts and assist with academic and community outreach. She also contributes to the planning and implementation of the summer Na-ha-shnee Health Sciences Institute. As part of her Honors thesis with Dr. Janet Katz in the WSU College of Nursing, Fay assessed the impact of Na-ha-shnee on Native American youth interested in the health professions. After graduating, she plans on working in a public health setting, providing support and health care access to underrepresented groups, and helping to increase their representation in the health professions.
