Pathway Programs

WSU Health Sciences is committed to creating pathways to college and health sciences. To accomplish this commitment, we sponsor numerous programs from middle school through high school.

Dare to Dream Academy
Works with migrant high school students interested in a health profession and is focused on serving the Columbia Basin area of Washington State as well as other focused Eastern and Central Washington areas. It

Na-ha-shnee Summer Institute
A 12-day free summer camp for Native American and Alaska Native Students currently in grades 9-12.

Spokane MESA (Math, Engineering, Science Achievement)
A career connected learning program that is focused on supporting students in grades 7 – 12 from underrepresented populations into STEM career pathways.

Upward Bound Stevens County
A program designed for students in grades 9 – 12 to help them gain the academic skills and motivation they need for success in high school, colleges, and everyday life.
