Don’t let the name of this dish deter you from a healthy dessert! This chocolate hummus can be used just like a chocolate dip for a healthy snack with some fresh, cut up fruit.
Makes: 6 Servings
- 1 Can Garbanzo Beans, drained and rinsed 3 times
- 3 Tbl Maple Syrup
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 4 Tbsp Unsweetened Baking Cocoa
- 2 Tbsp Water
- Combine all ingredients in a high powered blender or food processor. Blend until texture is smooth – add more water if too thick.
- Serve with fresh fruit, I recommend strawberries and apple slices!
