Service-Learning

Service-Learning is a teaching and learning strategy [and a form of experiential learning] that integrates meaningful community service with instruction and reflection to enrich the learning experience, teach civic responsibility, and strengthen communities (National Service-Learning Clearinghouse).

The Center for Civic Engagement at WSU Pullman has established a service learning course designation (ā€œCā€) for courses at the WSU campuses that will appear in the course schedule to identify the many academic courses/sections offering a service learning component. Here is some more information on Service Learning Course Designations.
