Peer Tutoring at WSU Health Sciences is a free tutoring service available to WSU Health Sciences students enrolled through our Spokane and Yakima campuses. Peer tutors will be available beginning Monday, August 31st for select courses across all WSU Health Sciences majors and programs. Beginning Fall 2020, tutor requests and scheduling will take place via Penji, an app and online tool that allows students to request and manage tutoring support on their phones or laptops. To get started with Penji, please visit https://web.penjiapp.com/ or download the Penji app on your phone:
To use Penji, students will need to create a profile using their WSU email (NOTE: Penji is not configured as part of the WSU single sign-on system). The video below provides a quick walk through of the Penji environment:
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Jack Downs at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In addition to the program-specific peer tutoring services available through WSU Spokane’s Student Success Center, WSU students have access to a regional shared tutoring program called eTutoring. Tutoring support through eTutoring is not a WSU program: eTutoring hires student-tutors from a number of colleges and universities across the Pacific Northwest. To request support through eTutoring, select “Western eTutoring Consortium,” and then “Washington State University System” from the drop down menu.
