Tuition and Fees

FALL 2017–SPRING 2018

Please note that the first figures of this chart list undergraduate resident, graduate resident, and non-resident tuition rates per semester. Several programs have different rates: pharmacy (see below) and graduate nursing (see below). Find residency information here.

Tuition and fees are due the first day of class which is August 21, 2017, for the Fall and January 8, 2018, for the Spring. The charges will be online one week before the start of classes. If you are receiving financial aid, it will not be visible until the Thursday night before classes begin.

WSU does not mail billings for tuition and fees. The information is available online and you can easily access your account at myWSU then select Finances to see what you owe and pay online at that time. Please share this information if someone else pays your tuition.

ESF College of Medicine$35,571 for year charged all in Fall semester, but divided into 3 equal payments

Notes:

  • There is a two credit minimum charge.
  • Full time students are in 10 through 18 credit hours for fee paying purposes, but Federal Financial Aid rules require a minimum of 12 credits for undergraduate students.
  • Student health fee $92.00 (enrolled in 7 or more credits).
  • S&A Fees are included in the cost of tuition and are $285.50 per semester.

Late Fees on Unpaid Tuition & Mandatory Fees

Fall 2017

If tuition and mandatory fees are not received at WSU by:

  • September 5, 2017, a late fee of 3% will be added.
  • September 21, 2017, an additional 5% will be added.
  • October 6, 2017, an additional 7% will be added.

Spring 2018

If tuition and mandatory fees are not received at WSU by:

  • January 22, 2018, a late fee of 3% will be added.
  • February 7, 2018, an additional 5% will be added.
  • February 22, 2018 an additional 7% will be added.

ESF College of Medicine Late Fees

FALL TERM 2017 (14 WEEKS)

If tuition and mandatory fees are not received at WSU by:

  • September 5, 2017, a late fee of 3% will be added.
  • September 21, 2017, an additional 5% will be added.
  • October 6, 2017, an additional 7% will be added.

WINTER TERM 2017-18 (14 WEEKS)

If tuition and mandatory fees are not received at WSU by:

  • December 11, 2017, a late fee of 3% will be added.
  • January 8, 2018, a late fee of 5% will be added.
  • January 23, 2018, a late fee of 7% will be added.

SPRING TERM 2018 (14 WEEKS; 13 WEEK SESSION FOR 1ST AND 2ND YEAR STUDENTS)

If tuition and mandatory fees are not received at WSU by:

  • April 2, 2018, a late fee of 3% will be added.
  • April 17, 2018, a late fee of 5% will be added.
  • May 2, 2018, a late fee of 7% will be added.

SUMMER TERM 2018 (8 WEEKS)

If tuition and mandatory fees are not received at WSU by:

  • July 9, 2018, a late fee of 3% will be added.
  • July 25, 2018, a late fee of 5% will be added.
  • August 9, 2018, a late fee of 7% will be added.
