Student loan debt has now surpassed credit card debt by over $3 billion in America. That means that more money is being spent on student loans than on credit cards every year. It’s important to be smart about borrowing for college and know your options.
Student loan repayment begins 6 months after you are no longer enrolled at least half-time. You will be notified by your loan servicer as to when you will begin payments (payment due date), how much your payments will be and what your interest rate is for each of your loans.
